My style of massage is often described as deeply relaxing and medicinal. My passion area is in pain management through body awareness and self-care, and I also love working with those who simply want to enter a deep space of ease to the point of sleeping. I enjoy seeing my diverse clientele who come from different walks of life with varying reasons for seeking massage therapy.
Physically being on the massage table is a loving step clients make for themselves and is a gentle way of saying "I am here for myself." My role as the therapist is to facilitate the individual body's natural healing responses and tend to its thirst for connection through massage.
I work with clients to address their goals and needs. My touch adapts according to your comfort; ranging from light, affirming, and gentle to more firm and engaging. I do not believe that massages should be painful - as an evidence-based practitioner, I respect modern research and its support of the theory that painful touch may worsen or interfere with tissue damage and neuromuscular processes. If a client requests deeper pressure to the point of pain, I am happy to explore that request with the client using mindfulness techniques: "I understand that you are requesting a more painful approach to your low back. Let's take a deep breath, bring our focus to the area you're concerned about, and explore what sensations are happening."
Ultimately, my joy is to watch others feel any sort of peace and ease with themselves. Massage therapy is one of many portals to that reality. Poet John Keats said that "touch has a memory" - I hope to provide meaningful memories for all I work with.

Appointment & Rescheduling Policies
Life happens. You might feel like showing up would be a really difficult thing to do, or something important comes up that takes precedence over massage. If you are hesitant, this is a normal feeling, and I gently encourage you to push yourself a little bit to get here, because once you arrive, you can let it all go, collapse on the table, and enjoy the assisted rest of therapeutic massage. If something comes up – I understand. Because sessions are offered with time, intention, and love from your therapist, there is a cancellation policy in place. I ask that you give at least 48 hours’ notice if you are needing to reschedule your appointment. To do so, you may call or text 937-545-7839 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. When the appointment is rescheduled, that session then requires pre-payment, and when an appointment is cancelled, the following session requires pre-payment.
If you are a new client, please feel free to download and print my new client intake form, fill it out, and bring it with you to your appointment to save time!
A completed referral form signed by a medical provider keeps your sessions sales tax-exempt.
