Massage is medicinal. My passion areas are found in bodywork that soothes the nervous system, relieves bodies from pain, provides a space to drop into deep rest, and contributes to the relationship you have with yourself. I enjoy slow work with massage: slow hands, pauses, chances for the body to receive, process, and absorb into itself. Chances to stretch into the long arc of time.
I am an evidence-based practitioner who works with clients to address their goals and needs for each session. My touch and techniques are adaptable to your comfort; they will always be affirming and engaging. Something to keep in mind is that I am not the best fit for someone looking to experience painful or aggressively deep massage. More often, I use "friendly" hands and a gentle firmness.
My practice is inclusive and affirming! I am experienced and comfortable working with a diverse clientele: a mosaic of shapes, sizes, ages, abilities, ethnicities, races, and genders. Please note the massage table I use is ADA compliant, 32” wide, and has a 600 lb weight capacity. I enjoy seeing my diverse clientele who come from different walks of life with varying reasons for seeking massage therapy.
Ultimately, my joy is to watch others feel any sort of peace and ease within themselves. Massage therapy is one of many portals to that special place. Poet John Keats said that "touch has a memory" - I hope to provide meaningful memories for all I work with.

Appointment & Rescheduling Policies
I ask that you give at least 24 hours’ notice as a courtesy if you are needing to reschedule your appointment. To do so, you may call or text 937-545-7839 or email heartwoodlmt@gmail.com.
If an appointment is missed, or cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours of notice, the client will be charged a cancellation fee of 100% of the service charge.
