Silence is truth

In bodywork, silence can be a powerful tool that honors the individual and provides them with dedicated, steady time and space to explore their own selves.

"Silence is holy. It is healing. There is no fear in silence. Silence is truth." -Jean Klein

Silence is peace.

"Silence is the continuum in the three states of waking, dreaming, and dreamless sleep."

In deep rest, real quietness is reflected. When the body wakes up after a deeply restful massage (one of those where you are there...but not there... drifting in some warm ethereal current), we say, "I rested well." Since the body might not have been present in our ~conscious~ awareness during parts of that massage, as we were asleep or deeply resting, the saying doesn't only refer to the body. It belongs to the deep quietness imprinted in us. In this way, a massage where you go "far out" awakens the longing for peace in all states. And this carries into the day, and moves through your life. Knowing peace, and the longing for peace.
